What is STKGL?

STKGL is a Slookytech class that uses OpenGL for various things. You can use it as a Game Engine - load models, setup items etc. Or you can use it for anything else you want to.

Why is it version x.x.xM?

Since I just barely started developement on it, after trying lots of things, I just barely have it working.

Where can I get it so I can help to develop it?

Click this link to download it - it's a txt for being so small: STKGL.H and a test model file Triangle.sk1.txt - rename to just sk1 - sk1 is Slookytech Model 1 Data.

It's been updated to version 0.1.0b. You can now use the Triangle Load, Model Structure works perfectly, everything is going well. Now I need to update on other parts of the engine. I've made a square box with Triangle.sk1.txt - which should be renamed to just triangle.sk1, it will make a triangle that has colors on it. Read the source and figure out how things work. It'll help. Have fun!
How do I make my own model file?

Pretty simple, just the first # is number of vertices, then a return, then the number of vertices you are going to color, then another return, then you put in how many vertices to skip before changing color, next you write out your vertices as triangle vertices. An example:
1.0 1.0 1.0
-1.0 1.0 1.0
-1.0 -1.0 1.0
1.0 1.0 1.0
1.0 -1.0 1.0
-1.0 -1.0 1.0
0.1 0.3 0.5
0.8 1.0 0.2
- Now that makes 1 face of a square, the front, then it makes it 10% red 30% green and 50% blue for vertex 2 and 80% red 100% green 20% blue for vertex 4.
